Why Some Rewards May Not Be Available
Catalog, regional, and policy reasons a reward may be hidden or removed—and what you can do instead.
The reward catalog in PraisePal isn't a fixed list.
Gift cards and custom rewards can be added or removed depending on where you are, what providers currently offer, and how your company has set things up. If something you're looking for isn't there — or a reward you saw before is gone — it's almost certainly one of the reasons below.
What this is
PraisePal's reward catalog is dynamic. Gift cards are sourced both directly from brands and from third-party providers, while custom rewards are created and managed by your company's admins. Both types can change over time, and the catalog you see is filtered to show rewards that are currently available and relevant to you.
What affects what you see
Your location
Gift cards are filtered by country — you'll only see cards available in your region. Custom rewards can also be scoped to specific countries by your admin.
If the catalog looks empty or you're not seeing rewards you expect, check your location in Account > Profile. If it's unset or incorrect, the catalog won't match your actual region. Your admin can also update your location if needed.
Gift card availability
Gift cards come from third-party providers and brands, and availability can change at any time. A brand might not show because the provider removed it from their catalog, it went out of stock, the brand changed its terms and conditions, or it was restricted for regulatory reasons in your region. When any of these happen, the brand is removed from the catalog.
If you already had a pending redemption for a gift card that's removed, PraisePal honours it where possible. Either way, your points stay with you — if a redemption can't be fulfilled, your points are refunded.
Not all countries have gift card coverage. If you do not see your location, reach out to us and our team will see what we can do to enable redemptions in your region.
Custom rewards
Custom rewards are entirely managed by your company. They can have limited stock, availability dates, and your admin can activate or deactivate them at any time. When a custom reward runs out of stock, passes its availability date, or is turned off, it is removed from the catalog.
If a custom reward you expected to see is gone, ask your workspace admin — PraisePal doesn't control custom reward availability.
Workspace billing
In some cases you can browse gift cards but see a message when you try to redeem. This typically means your workspace's subscription or billing setup needs attention — for example, if your company is on a trial, the subscription has lapsed, or billing details are incomplete. The message will tell you to contact your admin, and they can resolve it from Settings > Billing.
