How Program Rewards Work

What to expect when your admin sends you points through an incentive program, or when you submit a claim.

Sometimes your company awards points outside the normal recognition flow

These might be project bonuses, seasonal appreciation, learning incentives, or other structured initiatives.

How you receive program points

There are two ways you might receive points from a program, depending on how your admin set it up.

One-off programs

Your admin awards points to a group of people all at once. You don't need to do anything β€” the points appear in your balance automatically and you'll receive a notification (email and/or Slack) with a message explaining what it's for.

Claim-based programs

Your admin publishes a program and you submit a claim to receive points. This is common for things like certification reimbursements, learning goals, or initiative completions where you need to show what you did.

The flow looks like this:

  1. Discover β€” Open Programs from the main navigation. Programs you're eligible for appear in the list.

  2. Review β€” Open a program to read what it's for, how many points you'll receive, and whether proof is required.

  3. Submit β€” Click Submit Claim and provide any required details or proof (a URL or text explanation).

  4. Wait β€” Your admin reviews the claim. You'll be notified when it's approved or rejected.

  5. Receive β€” Once approved, points are credited to your balance immediately.

You can check the status of your claims anytime from the program detail page.

Where to find your program points

Program points appear in your Earnings balance alongside points from recognitions and celebrations. You can spend them the same way β€” redeem for any available reward in the rewards catalogue.

In your activity feed, program points show the program name so you can tell them apart from recognition points.

What might block you

A program isn't showing up for me β€” Programs are only visible to eligible users. Your admin defines the audience β€” it might be limited to specific teams, permission groups, or countries. If you believe you should be eligible, check with your admin.

My claim was rejected β€” Your admin reviews each claim individually. If rejected, you'll receive a notification. Check whether the program description specifies what qualifies, and submit a new claim if the program is still open and you haven't hit the claim limit.

The program says "closed" β€” Programs can have deadlines or be closed manually by your admin once they've run their course. Closed programs no longer accept new claims. If you missed the window, reach out to your admin.
